Andrea Asprelli is based out of Brooklyn, NY and writes, sings, and plays fiddle and banjo. Formerly of Cricket Tell the Weather, she has released two albums of original music, as well as the Masters Radio Volume 1, a compilation of live recordings from the Masters Radio concert series. She plays freelance with the Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective, Karen and the Sorrows, and others. She performs duo under her name with guitarist and collaborator Jason Borisoff.
Masters Radio Volume 1 out now!
Masters Radio Volume 1 is a compilation of duo performances with Andrea and her favorite Brooklyn musicians. Every month, they picked a new artist to focus on. After each show, they went to Conveyor Studios, and Jason Borisoff recorded the tracks as live as possible. All in all, about 80 tracks were recorded, and were slimmed down to a best-of list.
